The story
A low, rounded vessel holds a small opening within a broad green glass body. Painted vines, fruits and blossoms move around the curved surface; the transparent colour lends depth behind the brighter surface decoration.
Originally described as a brush-washer for a writing table, it also works as a small decorative vessel on a shelf. A short dry stem is a possible styling choice if it fits without pressure. Water-tightness and painted-surface durability have not been tested, so dry display is the cautious starting point.
Attribution note
Chinese-style glass scholar's object with vine-and-fruit motifs. Seller calls it Qing; reign-style marks and decoration do not establish manufacture date.
