The story
A brilliant yellow interior holds curling vines, leaves and colourful fruit-like motifs. The white exterior and small foot keep the decoration concentrated inside, so the miniature dish reads almost like a framed painting when viewed from above.
On a bedside table it could hold one small ring, with a soft insert if needed to protect delicate surfaces. It can also be displayed upright on a suitable stand. Its scale is miniature rather than that of a dining plate; food-contact suitability has not been tested.
Attribution note
Chinese/Jingdezhen-style yellow-ground decoration. Seller dates it to the 1950s; the accompanying text screenshot is a claim, not independent authentication.
