The story

Flowers, leaves and butterfly-like details decorate the centre of this broad, shallow tray. Pale circular patches, darkening and fine scratches remain visible across its yellow-brown surface.

The low rim leaves the floral composition open to view. On a console or coffee table, it can gather a small decorative arrangement; use a protective layer beneath it and keep delicate objects from rubbing against the metal.
