The story

A broad foot supports a low, rounded body with stepped shoulders and a circular lid. The warm metal surface is interrupted by darker bands and small areas of oxidation, giving this little container a strong outline even without painted decoration.

Identified by the source seller as a portable container for Chinese calligraphy ink. Dark residues remain inside. It may be considered for small non-food keepsakes only after checking cleanliness, residue transfer and the lid; not intended for food or cosmetic storage.
